Amazing experience with delicious food. Highly recommended

I was married this past weekend in Villa Montalto, which is a stone&#39;s throw from the city of Florence (very convenient for out-of-town guests). My (now) husband and I had heard great things about the venue based on a personal recommendation and it was backed up by reviews we saw online. From the beginning, Alberto was intuitive and helpful as we planned the details of our wedding day. Since it was this November, everything was inside, which was an added advantage at this location since there are several rooms inside to utilize that add to the romantic, statuesque ambiance that feels like you own your own state home for an evening. On the day of, together with our wedding coordinator (the lovely ladies of Tuscandream, carolina and francesca) they made sure that every single detail was met and I was so incredible impressed! Candles romantically lit up the entrance way and the staff on site doing the coat check and later serving us were so incredible nice and professional. My guests were blown away at how nice it was. We conducted our symbolic ceremony in the room that doubles as a dance floor that comfortably contained all 100 of our guests. As soon as the ceremony ended waiters greeted us with glasses of champagne (which my fiance&#39;s dad brought from France) and we were able to toast before heading to my favorite room, the &#39;luna nera&#39; or black room with a beautifully ornate ceiling. There we enjoyed spritz cocktails and juices and our selection of curated appetizers, made from all seasonal ingredients. Dinner was just amazing, together with Alberto, we chose a fantastic three course dinner with a beautifully made crepe with pecorino cheese, chestnut pasta with truffles and beef filet with a red wine reduction, veggies and potatoes. The only minor slip-up was that they gave a few vegetarians meat dishes even though they knew beforehand, but that was quickly fixed. Here we had the best meal in Italy, and the soup dumplings and fried chickpea chips were my favorite, delicious and delicious. And the light cheese sauce is very unique in the taste of honey, the two flat oysters, the wild boar lasagna, the roast beef, the yak and the dessert are very good.

I went to many Michelin restaurants around the world, and this one was amazing to me. Eat seven dishes tasting menu. Not as well-regulated as French Michelin, nor as forced to pursue all-round experience and molecular cuisine as British FAT DUCK. The fresh ingredients are also very thoughtful. It can be said that it is a neutral and unexpected taste. Every dish has highlights but is so inadvertent. Mainly delicious! So that the original reservation was cancelled on the third night and went to eat again. The chef also specially changed all seven dishes. Like 👍

A well-regulated warm restaurant. The atmosphere is very good. The staff can talk to the guests. The bread is also soft and delicious. The dishes are similar to other visits. It just has some characteristics and feels that there are still many types. You can also choose pizza. The price is not high. Not low, you can come here when you are hungry.

Is this the best restaurant in Florence? Certainly the best in Fiesole and surely most of Florence.  Though the menu is not large, every item we had amongst 3 people was wonderful. The flavours and combinations can be intense, yet often subtle as well, and all delightfully pleasing. The dishes are unique to this restaurant and it is so well worth the short journey to Fiesole.The staff are very invested in good service and communication. They are welcoming and friendly. They explain the menu with care and pride (in English if necessary) and are known for their use of local ingredients and also extensive, exclusive local wines.If the weather is good enough, sitting outside with the view to Florence available is one of those moments to savour deeply.  However the restaurant inside is also cosy and pleasant with a sleek modern air.

We ordered a bistecca fiorentina t-bone steak for 2 people and it was delicious, paid 75&euro; and it was quite a lot, 3 people could share it. Also had ribollita soup, very nice too. The order of grilled vegetables was very small and mediocre.. 7&euro; wasted. In general the restaurant should improve the size of the dishes, the soup and the vegetables were small and expensive. Also there was a waiter quite rude and nobody came to check on us if everything was okay. Not very nice service. Overall it&rsquo;s a nice restaurant but not exceptional.
